Every camper joins a team led by camp counselors who care about them and want to make their week special. Each team spends the day playing, learning, and taking on challenges while earning points.
Through activities like Canoeing, Archery, Gaga Ball, Human Foosball, Bazookball, Escape Room, Crafts, Swimming, Exploding Watermelons, nature hikes, and more, campers will learn new skills and teamwork. We are a unique ranch and camp with goats, chickens, horses, rabbits, ducks, sheep, donkeys, cats, and dogs and campers get to interact with animals daily.
Every Thursday we host a “Water Day”. We rent water slides and we host a water balloon and water gun war.
This summer our theme will be Jurassic Camp with lots of Dinosaur fun!
Our schedule this summer will be 8AM to 4:30PM. After the extreme heat of last summer we decided to reduce our schedule for the safety of our campers and staff. If this is a hardship for you please let us know, we hope that this leads to an even better experience for our campers and staff.

Preschool Week- June 3 – 7
Ages: 4 - 6 Times: 8:30AM - 2:30PM
Preschool Camp will have a schedule and activities appropriate for Preschoolers. We also keep a lower adult-to-child ratio for our Preschool Camp.

Sam's Camp will be hosted in memory of my brother Samuel Barnard. Samuel was a fun camp counselor, he loved God, and he loved camp. Sam passed away from a battle with cancer February 4, 2015. "No day shall erase you from the memory of time".

FAQ's
Staff and Volunteers: We have more than 20 years of experience hosting camps. 16 years as Children's Pastors and 9 as Camp Directors. All of our staff and volunteers go through a thorough screening and training process. We perform background checks and meet all state licensing requirements.
Ages: Daycamp is for kids who have graduated from the first grade through those who have graduated from the sixth grade. (Those who have not graduated from 1st grade will be dismissed from camp with no refund, please consider our Preschool camp)
Transportation: We will provide a pickup and drop-off service in two locations.
The Ranch
Parents can choose to drop off and pick up at Big Red's Ranch.
Brownsville
Campers will be picked up at 8AM each day and dropped off at 4:30PM each day. We will pick up and drop off at the back of the Home Depot parking lot off of Morrison Road in Brownsville.
Harlingen and Upper Valley
Campers will be picked up at 8AM each day and dropped off at 4:30PM each day. We will pick up and drop off in the parking lot behind Cheddars and in front of Papas & Papas. Harlingen, TX 78552.

T-shirt: This year each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. Please indicate your child's t-shirt size on the online registration form.
Lunch: All campers will need to bring a sack lunch each day of Daycamp. We will provide snacks and water throughout the day. Please inform us of any food allergies your child has.

Camp License: We are a licensed camp with the State of Texas.
Prices: Camp costs $195 per week. The rate will increase to $220 per week May 1st. The average cost of a Daycamp in the US is $451 per week. We can only offer these discounted rates because of the support of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
REGISTRATION IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE AND THERE IS LIMITED SPACE, WE HAVE SOLD OUT THE LAST THREE YEARS
Scholarships: If you know of a person or business who may be willing to help provide scholarships please contact them on our behalf and then connect them with us. All scholarships go directly to providing camp for campers who need the assistance.
We have some scholarships available. For now they will all be half scholarships so that we can spread them out over several camps. We will be giving away these scholarships through an application process and drawing/ giveaways on our Facebook Page. To be considered for a scholarship please do the following.
1. Select the Scholarship option and fill out the scholarship on the next page.
2. If your application is approved you will only owe a second payment due no later than four weeks before camp.
