Christmas at the Ranch Festival

A beautiful ranch at sunset with Christmas music, Christmas lights, a Christmas Light Show, canoes, hayrides, a campfire, animals, fun family activities, and more. This is a fun family event that has become an annual family tradition.

Single Parents are Free at all of our events- you can get your free ticket when you buy tickets for your children.

INCLUDED GAMES AND ACTIVITIES

Lots of Photo Opportunities. We are even creating the North Pole on our Island on the Resaca, behind the house.

Canoes with lights and paddleboats - You can canoe in the light or after the sun goes down and our ducks will share the water with you. The water is shallow enough to stand up in and lifejackets are provided.

Hay Rides through Christmas lights - We have made the ride longer and we are adding 100,000 more lights to the path.

Snowball Fight (soft cotton balls)

Three Barnyard petting zoos and two Horse and Donkey paddocks.
Chickens, goats, pigs, horses, donkeys, a pony, a macaw, a peacock, ducks, and some cats. We will also have baby chicks.

Car Bash - Take your frustrations out by hitting a car with a sledgehammer. This is a popular activity with the whole family.

Bazooka Ball - shoot foam balls at each other and try to capture the flag.

Golf Cart Track - Drive gas-powered golf carts through a trail cut in our field.

Several Games

Christmas Light Show- We have created our own twelve-minute Christmas Light Show. Lights synchronized with Christmas music with a story narrated by our puppet mascot Big Red.

Big Red Maze - A Maze through our trees with Christmas Lights. It will be different then our Fall Maze.

Christmas Light Hike - Take a hike through our trees. This is a fun adventure, especially as it gets dark. Our Christmas lights will guide you for most of the hike.

Pony Rides- $3/ ride

Horse Rides- $4/ ride

Carriage Rides: $25/ per whole carriage ride (not per person) - Capacity 2-5 (depending on sizes)

Treasure Hunt through trees with Christmas Lights (like an Easter Egg hunt): $2/ child for prizes (parents can participate for free) Prize: first edition collectable Christmas at the Ranch pin and candy canes

Or search for Citrus Ranch Blvd, San Benito, Texas. You will NOT need to drive on a dirt road to get to us. Rice Track Road (after HWY 100) behind the ranch is not paved and has large potentially dangerous potholes.

Are Pets allowed? We love pets but they are not allowed at our events for the safety of your animals and ours.

Who We Are
 
We are a non-profit organization committed to Strengthening Families and Fighting for the Fatherless through events and camps. We host these events to provide a fun day for families to create memories together. Our events are staffed with volunteers and all of the entrance fees goes to cover event costs and to improve the ranch for future events and kids camps. Each summer with the help of our volunteers, our "Big Red Founders" (monthly donors), and our camp sponsors we are able to provide camp opportunities and scholarships for kids from the RGV. Having grown up here we know the need for a camp like this and we hope to provide this opportunity for more and more kids each summer.
