McAllen / Mission July Day Camp

Sign your child up for an adventure this summer.

Canoes, Archery, Water Balloon War, Swimming, Water Slides, Team Games, Nature Hike, Gaga Ball, Bazooka Ball, Paintball Target Shooting, Science Fun, Knocker ball, and so much more!

We have been hosting camps for more than 20 years and we hosted 600 campers last summer.

Every camper joins a team led by camp counselors who care about them and want to make their week special. Each team spends the day playing, learning, and taking on challenges while earning points. Each week we encourage campers in their relationship with God. This summer we will have a dinosaur theme! David and Goliath, Gideon, and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are some of the Bible stories we will study.

We provide a long 8:30AM to 4:30PM schedule. We do this to pack in the fun. We recommend that camp is the only activity your child participates in during that week because they will come home tired each day. Campers cannot be dropped off late or picked up early. Monday is the most important day and all campers need to be able to attend.

Camp 1- July 15 - 19

At Brand Christian Camp across from Bentsen State Park in Mission, Texas

Graduated 1st – Graduated 6th Grade

8:30AM - 4:30PM

We leave the parking lot of the drop-off location at 8:30AM and return each day by 4:30PM. Our buses will be in place 30 minutes early each day to receive your child for check-in.

Camp 2- July 22 - 26

At Brand Christian Camp across from Bentsen State Park in Mission, Texas

Graduated 1st – Graduated 6th Grade

FAQ's

The camp is sponsored by Valley Baptist Missions Education Center. We are hosting this camp in Mission, Texas at Brand Christian Camp across from Bentsen State Park.

Staff and Volunteers: We have more than 20 years of experience hosting camps. 16 years as Children's Pastors and 8 as Camp Directors. All of our staff and volunteers go through a thorough screening and training process.

Ages: Daycamp is for kids who have graduated from the first grade through those who have graduated from the sixth grade. (Those who have not graduated from 1st grade will be dismissed from camp without a refund)

Transportation: We will provide a pickup and drop-off service in three locations.

T-shirt: Please indicate your child's t-shirt size on the online registration form.

Lunch: All campers will need to bring a lunch each day of Daycamp. We will provide two snacks and unlimited water throughout the day. Please inform us of any food allergies your child has.

Prices:

Regular Camper Rate - $195 per camper, per week. Includes transportation, snacks, unlimited water and Gatorade, and all camp activities. 8:30AM to 4:30PM - a $360 value.

Scholarship - pay the $50 application fee and submit the application. 80% are approved, we will refund the application fee if not approved. Once approved you will need to make a second payment of $45 four weeks before camp. 1/2 scholarship. Do not allow finances to keep your child from camp, send us a message if you need more assistance.
