We are excited to be able to offer this volunteer camp for the very first time. This will be an overnight camp and will only be available to teens who have volunteered at one of our summer camps.
Our interns will be your camp counselors so you will see how the pro's do it. This will be the loudest and most fun camp we have ever hosted!

The location of the camp will be Brand Christian Youth Camp in Mission. This campground is inside Bentsen State Park. It is a beautiful campground and it has its own lake where we can swim, canoe, and fish. We enter through Bentsen State Park. Here is the Google Maps link to the entrance:

Before 2020 and Covid we used to host overnight camps at this location. This camp will be our first overnight camp since the summer of 2019. Those who attend this camp will be helping us start overnight camps again. This is an adventure camp. The cabins are rustic. They are open-air cabins and do not have A/C, we will have fans.
Registration will be limited. It will be a small camp this year.
Dates: July 10 - 12
We will provide transportation to and from the camp but there is also the option of dropping off at the entrance to Bentsen State Park. More details will be provided in the receipt email.
July 10th - We will meet at Big Red's Ranch at 3:45PM to check-in and load the bus. We plan to leave by 4PM.
July 12th - We will return to Big Red's Ranch by 2PM
The cost will only be $100, scholarships are also available - do not let the cost keep you from coming, let us know if you need more than a half scholarship. This is drastically reduced price through the sponsorship of Valley Baptist Mission Education Center.
Campers will need to bring money for lunch on the way back on Friday. We will stop for lunch at Whataburger or a similar restaurant.
Overnight camp is an entirely different experience than Daycamps and we are excited to be able to offer this experience to our teen volunteers. We will have all of our regular camp activities with the addition of night activities and extra fun. We will also host nightly services and morning devotions.
